Eden's Birthday and Baby GIRL #2!

Eden turned 2 on Sept 5th! She is counting to 10. Saying her prayers, which actually means that she repeats every other word that I say. Then I end up laughing

Eden opening her birthday presents... this was the extent of the "party."

The Laws got her twin baby dolls. Both of which immediately lost all clothing. We now have two naked dolls.

Eden preferred the boxes that the dolls came in.

We used Skype to let Gma and Gpa Law watch Eden open her presents from them.

Baby #2 is a girl :) My new due date is 2/2/10.

Updates

The entire month of August has come and gone without a post. At the request of Aunt Cindy, here it goes...

We listed our house for sale a few weeks ago. We had a showing yesterday, so Brock had to mow while I cleaned inside. The only problem is that we have an almost 2 year old (aka tazmanian devil). Everything I touched (in order to put it away), she had to have it. Thus, Brock ended up wearing Eden on his back in the carrier while he mowed our lawn...

My mom came to visit after she dropped Steven off at Lindenwood University in Missouri.

She gave Eden her first pig tails, which lasted all of 2 minutes.

Eden loves Sonic slushies, or soda, or water, or milk... basically anything that I put in the cup.

She ate brown sugar straight out of the bag and then gave me a hug. (notice my glistening arm)

I was finishing up my last assignment for my summer class while Eden played quietly. I should have known that "quiet playing" is a dangerous thing... this picture doesn't do her justice because the marker was on her teeth, lips and legs too.

LCA football is off to a great start. They beat a local public school 15-7 on Friday nigt. It was an awesome game. Miss Cindie and Mr. Paul watched Eden for us. What a HUGE blessing they are!

My mom helped me make chalkboards for Eden and Baby Colten (Miss Cindie's grandbaby) out of the kitchen cabinet doors from our old kitchen. It's a cool way to keep a piece of our renovated house with us...

Guestroom Project

Our guestroom had a leak that slowly ruined the carpet and the walls. We quaranteened off the room for the past few months because we a) didn't know where the water was coming from and b) didn't have time to fix it. Brock's dad came in town this weekend to help solve and fix the problem. Both were done succesfully. The room is 80% complete. We're still lacking some drywall and flooring, but it's come a long ways in 3 days.

When Brock tried to fix it the first time:

Grad School

I'm sitting in bed working on my homework, but it is extremely hard to stay focused when I have to use the internet to do research. I keep drifting back to Facebook, or Yahoo, or my blog, or anything that doesn't have do with academics... what could take me less than an hour, ends up taking me 3! I'm so ready to be done!

Strawberry Picking

We went to Scott's Strawberry Farm on Saturday and picked our own strawberries. Well, I picked and Eden indulged.

Tailyre is a friend from church. She helped us pick strawberries and played with Eden.

We had fun!

We picked a lot!
