First Steps!
Eden took her first steps on Friday. She just let go of the cabinet and took several steps across the kitchen. Her balance is amazing. She'll be chasing Brock in no time!

Poop Eater
We officially have a poop eater on our hands. No, I'm not talking about the dogs. I'm talking about the 11 month old child that has found the treasures inside her pants. Brock went to pick her up from her nap, and there were little poop pellets all over her crib. What really grossed him out was the mustache... no more need said.
Super Brock
Brock has Tuesdays off this summer. He has been working on and off doing maintenance on investment properties for a guy in our church (to keep him busy). Yesterday, Brock said that he was going to meet Michael (from church) and work all day. When he picked me up from work (we carpool- go green! jk), he gave me a bouqet of flowers and told me that he had already been to the grocery store. Then, when we got home, I walked inside and he had cleaned the entire house. I'm talking swept, mopped, dusted, washed dishes, laundry and the kicker.... rented a Rug Doctor to clean our furniture and carpet. I was blown away! It has been confirmed that he will never be a stay at home dad....

Planes, trains and automobiles... Eden's done it all
My mom and dad flew into Washington, DC, and picked up Eden. They turned right around and flew her back to Phoenix the next day. Brock and I had the whole week (in New York City and Boston) to ourselves! They brought her back the next weekend.

Mommy and Daddy,
This is my FIRST trip to see grandpa and grandma alone. But I plan to do it hundreds of time more!!
I'm having such a good time. I loved the airplane. Did you know that you can stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down....a bizillion times on the plane? And did you know that the flight attendant has really long pink fingernails that tickle me when she walks by? Did you know that they have baby food and strawberry pinwheels on the planes? Did you know that you can see a little man out the window with bright red sticks in his hands? Did you know that the information card is under-rated and tears apart really too easily? Did you know that I can sleep in a seat because I'm just the right size? Did you know that my Pedialite (?) bottle filled with ice cubes makes a fantastic rattle? Did you know that you can make cool noises in one of the empty beverage cups? Did you know that Southwest doesn't have a changing table in the bathroom and that my poop smells like tar? Did you know I can read my new book and I love the "ruff, ruff" and the "meow" the best? Did you know that grandpa has a soft shoulder? Did you know that there are alot of "Rookies" at grandma and grandpa's house? Did you know that Andrew lives with grandma and grandpa? (He makes me laugh)
Here are some pictures from my first day. Grandma thinks you're gonna miss me, but I want you to know that I am just fine! I'm having fun, so you have fun, too!
I love you,
Eden

Hi Mommy & Daddy,
I'm having so much fun at bampa and gamma's house. I like playing with gamma's toys. She said you played with them when you were little. Momma, where you ever little?
I got to play in the big bathtub. Did you know there are turtles in there? I also liked it when gamma made a waterfall onto my fingers.
I went swimming. I loved it the whole time......even if my pictures say differently! Did you know that Kasey stays really close by when you have her ball?
I got to race Lexie. She was the beater.
I love bampa's TV. The power button is just my height....when I stand on my tippy toes. Gamma said she wasn't even gonna tell me "NO". She said I can push all the buttons I want. She said she is gonna save the "N" word for really important things......like electric sockets and running into the street (when I get my running legs). She just trys to distract me with other toys. Sometimes it works, and sometimes I REALLY like the TV buttons.
I want to say that I miss you so that you'll feel better.......but I'm quite content.
There are some pictures of mommy and daddy above the changing table. I look at them every time I get my stinky changed. It's fun to point and practice my "dada" and .....(working on mama).
Have fun with my favorite aunt and uncle in Boston.
I Love you,
Eden

New York City
We spent the past 4 days in New York City. It was just the two of us (no Eden :)! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Law for taking Eden to Phoenix this week. We had so much fun taking the subway and shopping.
We saw Cirque Dreams on Broadway. Then we went out for dessert.

We went to Chinatown for lunch and shopping. We had our first experience with "bubble" tea. You can get green or black tea with tapioca "bubbles". It was quite a sensation!

Our hotel was on 58th street at Columbus Avenue. We were one block from Central Park.

Brock got authenic fish and chips from A Salt and Battery. The guys who own it are imigrants from England.

We visited Ground Zero.

We walked through Central Park.
